AhlulBayt News Agency: Following the recent threats by US President Donald Trump, in a strongly worded statement Senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani condemned any forms of threats against the eminent position of the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution Grand Ayatollah Khamenei in Iran, calling it a symbol of desperation by the Zionist regime.

In these trying times, it is the duty of all scholars and leaders around the world to stand united in condemning such rhetoric and threats against the eminent position of the supreme leader. The Muslim scholars must condemn such aggression against the entire Islamic Ummah and call for an end to such inhumane atrocities.
We strongly denounce any threats against the Islamic Republic and the Supreme leader of the Islamic revolution. Such vicious rhetoric is a sign of the global arrogance’s desperation.
